22 Year-Old Shot and Killed Inside Business

Los Angeles: A 22-year-old Asian man was shot and killed inside a business in Koreatown on Sunday.

On January 22, 2006, just after midnight, the victim was socializing with friends inside the AAAA Café located at 3429 West 6th Street in Los Angeles. 

The suspect, who had his face covered, walked into the café and shot at the victim's group without provocation.

The victim, identified as Hieu Nguyen, was pronounced dead at the scene.  One of the victim's associates, also a 22-year-old male Asian, suffered a gunshot wound to his shoulder and is listed in stable condition.

Suspect information is known to be a male no further description at this time.

The victim and his friends had no known gang affiliation.
