Robbery Suspect Caught on Camera

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying the suspect in a ATM robbery.

On Sunday, December 1, 2005, at about 8:45 p.m., unknown suspect grabbed the victim as she used the ATM machine at 3055 Wilshire Blvd. The suspect placed a knife to the victim's side and demanded her money. The victim, fearing for her life, gave the suspect her money. The suspect took the money and ran away.

The suspect is described as a male White or Hispanic between 20 to 25 years old, about 6'00 to 6'02" and weighing 170 to 180 pounds.

The incident was captured on the ATM surveillance camera system. Photographs of the suspect can be e-mailed upon request through Media Relations Section at 213-485-3586.
