Mayor to Swear In New Police Officers

Police Chief William J. Bratton
Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa
Maggie Whelan, General Manager, Personnel Department
Councilmember Jack Weiss

Why:
The Mayor and Chief Bratton will address the newest police academy class, and the largest in 10 years.

Mayor Villaraigosa will administer the oath of office to the new officers on their first day. The class will graduate in 8 months.
