Burger King Robber Caught on Camera

Los Angeles: LAPD released surveillance photos and request the public's help in identifying a suspect who committed an early morning robbery at a local Burger King restaurant.

On December 18, 2006, just before 7:00 A.M., the suspect entered the restaurant in the 1700 block of South La Cienega Boulevard. The suspect jumped over the counter and pointed a handgun at employees, demanding money from the safe. He took an undisclosed amount of money and he ran out of the restaurant.

The robber was described as a Black man, about 6 feet tall, weighing around 200 pounds. He is between 35 and 40 years of age. He was wearing a hooded black quilted jacket, black pants and white shoes.

Although no shots were fired and no one was injured, the suspect should be considered extremely dangerous due to his brazen actions.

Anyone with information is asked to call Wilshire Robbery Detectives Webster Wong or Earl Perry at 213-922-8205. On weekends and during off-hours, call the 24-hour toll free number at 1-877-LAWFULL (1-877-529-3855). Callers may remain anonymous.
