Woman Found Dead Near Freeway

Los Angeles: The body of a young woman was found in a remote area near the 210 Freeway.

On Wednesday, January 9, 2008, at around 1:45 a.m., Foothill Area patrol officers responded to a call in the 7400 block of La Tuna Canyon Road. Upon arrival, the officers found the body of a 24-year-old woman lying on the side of the road with a gunshot wound to the head.

Paramedics responded to the location and pronounced the woman dead.

The motive for the killing is unknown.

The woman has been identified as Christina Marie Davis, a resident of Pacoima.
