Why:
About a year ago, Officer Carlos Torres, a 26-year veteran with the LAPD, was diagnosed with leukemia. Torres is currently going through radiation treatment and is losing his hair. To show support of their fellow officer, a group of officers from CTD will be getting their heads shaved.
Officer Torres has a wife and two kids ages 11 and 15 years old.
