Teenager Murdered at a Local Business NR012023LP

Los Angeles:   A 17-year-old was shot and killed at a parking lot of a local business.

On January 15, 2012 at 2:08 a.m., Foothill Area patrol officers responded to a call of an Assault with a Deadly Weapon on San Fernando Road and Vineland Avenue. When they arrived, they discovered a male victim, later identified as 17-year-old Samuel Guerra, a resident of Los Angeles, dead at the scene with a gunshot wound to his head.

Investigators believe that Guerra was involved in a dispute with the suspect(s) that resulted in a shooting. The suspects fled the scene prior to officers arrival; no description was available.
