Woman Discovered Murdered

LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT
PRESS RELEASE
Wednesday, July 7, 1999

Victim: Kathryn Denise Bradford
(Female, Black, DOB: 07/11/58, 40 years old)

On Tuesday, July 06, 1999, at approximately 10:30 a.m., officers from 77th Street Area responded to the rear carport of the 6000 block South 10th Avenue, Los Angeles, for a Death Investigation. Upon their arrival, they met Los Angeles Fire Department personnel who had also responded. The officers were advised that the victim, Kathryn Denise Bradford had gunshot wounds and had been pronounced dead at 10:45 a.m. A crime scene was established and Detectives from South Bureau Homicide responded.

The motive is unknown at this time. The suspect(s) and weapon(s) remain outstanding.

South Bureau Homicide Detectives Russell Poole and Scott Masterson are conducting the investigation. Anyone with information concerning this incident is requested to call South Bureau Homicide at 213-847-1310.
