American Eurocopter Recognition Ceremony LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT PRESS RELEASE Wednesday, July 14, 1999 American Eurocopter Recognition Ceremony The Los Angeles Police Department will be honoring Mr. Christian Gras, the President and Chief Operating Officer of American Eurocopter Corporation. Mr. Gras will be recognized for contributions to the Los Angeles Police Department Air Support Division helicopter upgrade program. This recognition comes as a result of American Eurocopter's contribution of material and technical support for the upgrade of one LAPD's AS 350 B1 helicopter. The resources provided by American Eurocopter Corporation allowed Air Support Division to upgrade helicopter number N216LA from an AS 350 B1 to an AS 350 B2. The total contribution by American Eurocopter Corporation was approximately $160,000.00. The ceremony is set for Wednesday, July 14, 1999 at 10:00 a.m. and will be held at Hooper Memorial Heliport, 555 Ramirez Street, in Los Angeles. For Release 4:00 pm PDT July , 1999
