Homicide Suspect Arrested in Las Vegas

Tuesday, July 6, 1999
Rampart Homicide Detectives have been informed that Roberto Franklin Ramirez was taken into custody on July 6, 1999 at approximately 11:30 a.m. in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Sergeant Al Cervantes of the Las Vegas Metro Police Criminal Apprehension Team informed Rampart Detectives that Ramirez was observed entering a vehicle in the Thunderbird Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. Police Units detained Ramirez and arrested him on the Murder warrant issued through Hollywood Homicide. The suspect was recognized from wanted notices distributed by Rampart Homicide throughout the western states.
Ramirez was also being sought for questioning in the Teresa Del Rio homicide, which occurred on June 6, 1999 in Rampart Division.
Rampart Homicide Detectives will be travelling to Las Vegas to interview the suspect.
