Victim Dies from Gunshot Wound

Tuesday, July 27, 1999
On Monday, July 26,1999 at approximately 10:00 p.m., victim Dietrich D. Jackson, male, Black,23 years of age, was shot by unidentified suspect(s) in the area of 38th Place and LaSalle Avenue. The motive why this shooting occurred has not been established. Jackson was transported by ambulance to USC Medical Center for medical treatment. Jackson failed to respond to treatment and was pronounced at the hospital.
