"Detectives Need Public's Help in Locating Dangerous Kidnap/Rape Suspect"

Los Angeles: On Monday, July 17, 2000, at 11:00 a.m., LAPD Wilshire Detectives will hold a press conference to request the public's assistance in locating a dangerous kidnap/rape suspect. The press conference is scheduled to take place at Wilshire Community Police Station, 4861 West Venice Boulevard. The suspect is responsible for the kidnapping and sexual assault of a 17 year old female Hispanic victim, which occurred on July 11, 2000.

The photograph of the suspect will be available during the press conference.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect should contact Wilshire Operations Support Division at 213-847-3994, Monday through Friday between 6:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. or Wilshire Area Watch Commander at 213-485-4022 during non-business hours.
