"LAPD Community Appreciation Day"
Los Angeles - On Wednesday, July 19, 2000, at 12:00 p.m., the Los Angeles Police Department is having a Community Appreciation Day. Chief of Police Bernard C. Parks will be honoring outstanding community members for their efforts in working with the Los Angeles Police Department. These individuals have been recommended by the Commanding Officers from all LAPD 18 geographical areas.
The event is scheduled to take place at Parker Center, Room 618, 150 North Los Angeles Street, Los Angeles 90012.
