"43 Year Old Victim Found Dead"

Los Angeles - On Tuesday, July 18, 2000, at approximately 12:10 a.m., the victim, Grover Tinner, 43 years of age was found shot to death in an alley adjacent to 1749 West Gage Avenue in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles County Coroner's Investigator responded to the location. His investigation revealed Tinner had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his upper torso.

Witnesses stated that on Tuesday morning they heard several gunshots coming from the residence of 1749 West Gage Avenue. The circumstances of this incident have not been revealed. However, it appears to be narcotic related.

The suspect(s) and weapon remain outstanding.
