"Suspect Arrested for Homicide"
Los Angeles - On Tuesday morning, July 18, 2000, at approximately 12:10 A.M., Grover Tinner, 43 years of age, was found shot to death in an alley located in the area of the 1700 block of Gage Avenue, Los Angeles.
On Wednesday, July 19, 2000, at 5:00 P.M., the Department will be holding a press conference to announce the arrest of Damion "Football" Williams in connection with the murder of Grover Tinner. The press conference will take place at 77th Street Area Community Police Station, located at 7600 South Broadway.
