"National Night Out March in Rampart Division"

Los Angeles - The Rampart Community will host its 7th annual National Night Out on Tuesday, August 1st, 2000 at 6:00 P.M. The event will begin with a community march from MacArthur Park to Rampart Community Police Station located at 2710 W. Temple Street. Marchers will arrive at Rampart Community Police station at approximately 6:30 PM, where there will be entertainment, refreshments, and food provided by the rally organizers.

National Night Out is a nationwide annual event designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate participation in local anti-crime efforts, and to strengthen neighborhood-police community partnerships.

This event is co-sponsored by the Rampart Community Police Advisory Board (RCPAB), Rampart Boosters Association, Westlake Protectors, Council members Hernandez, Goldberg and Holden.
