34 Year-Old Killed During Dispute

 

Los Angeles: On Wednesday, July 16, 2003, at 12:30 a.m., Southwest Area patrol officers responded to a shooting call to the rear of the 1900 block of South Bonsallo Avenue. The preliminary investigation revealed that 34 year-old Jose Luiz Cruz was shot during a dispute with unidentified suspect(s).

Los Angeles City Fire Department personnel transported Cruz to a local hospital where he died as a result of his gunshot wounds.

The motive for the shooting is under investigation. The suspect(s) and the weapon remain outstanding.
