Follow-Home Bandit Caught on Video
Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Wilshire Area
Robbery Section is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect that
followed-home a single female and robbed her of a large sum of money.
On July 12, 2003, at 11:35 a.m., a male Black entered the Bank of America
located at 8501 West Pico Boulevard. The suspect stood behind the victim as
she waited for window service. The suspect then walked up to another service
window and asked a question, with no transaction made. He then walked away
from the window and sat down in a chair waiting for the victim to finish her
transaction. When the victim was done she walked out of the bank and went
home, unaware that the suspect had followed her. Once at home, and while
still seated in her vehicle, the suspect approached her, simulated a gun and
demanded the money she had gotten from the bank.
Surveillance videotape at the bank caught the suspect’s image and is

North Los Angeles Street, room 626. The suspect is 5’-7" to 5’-9", 160-175
pounds, and 20-25 years of age. The suspect also has a mole under his right
eye.
