Sacred Buddha Statue Stolen

Los Angeles: On July 2, 2003,unknown suspects entered a Korean Buddhist Temple located at the 4200 block of West 3rd Street in broad daylight and removed a 200lb metal Buddhist statue from its base.

The Buddha statue was made in Korea and is valued at $20,000. It is 37" tall and depicts a seated bronze Buddha with the right leg crossed and the right hand raised.
