15 Year-Old Shot and Killed

 

Los Angeles: Hollenbeck Homicide Detectives are investigating the shooting death of 15 year-old Christopher Marquez, a resident of Los Angeles.

On Saturday, July 26, 2003, at about 11:30 p.m., Marquez and a female companion were getting out of a taxi cab in the 3300 block of Hunter Street when two male Hispanic approached them and demanded Marquez’s bicycle. One suspect punched Marquez in the face while the second suspect armed himself with a handgun and shot him multiple times.

Los Angeles City paramedics responded to the scene and transported Marquez to a local hospital where he died as a result of his gunshot wounds.

The suspects have not been identified. No weapon was recovered. The suspects are only described as male Hispanics.
