Sobriety Checkpoint

Sobriety Checkpoint

WHEN:
Saturday, July 10, 2004
5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

WHERE:
Florence Avenue Between Saint Andrews Place and Western Avenue

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s South Traffic Division will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint in the southern area of Los Angeles. The checkpoint will be located in the 77th Street Area on Florence Avenue between Saint Andrews Place and Western Avenue.

The checkpoint will be set up to screen drivers both east and westbound on Florence Avenue. This operation will be conducted in an effort to reduce injuries, death, and property damage associated with intoxicated drivers.
