Victim Found Dead In His Vehicle; Detectives Seek Clues

 

Los Angeles- Harbor Area Homicide Detectives are requesting the public's help in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for the death of 63 year-old James Mayer.

On Sunday, July 04, 2004, at about 1:30 a.m., Mayer was found dead in the front seat of his vehicle that was parked in the 120 block of 252nd Street.

Detectives believe this incident is possibly gang related.

Detectives urge for the public's assistance and ask anyone with information regarding this incident to contact Harbor Area Homicide Detectives, at 310-548-2835. On weekends and during off-hours, call the 24-hour toll free number at the Detective Information Desk, at 1-877-LAWFULL (1-877-529-3855).
