Argument Results In Shooting: Two Dead, One Injured

 

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department, Wilshire Detective Division, is investigating a shooting incident that left two persons dead and one injured.

On Thursday, July 8, 2004, at about 3:30 p.m., Wilshire officers responded to an "Ambulance Shooting" radio call at Nice & Q Billiards, located at 3388 West 8th Street. When the officers arrived they found three men, described only as Koreans, who had been shot.

The Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics transported all three victims to local hospitals. Two victims, Sang Shin, 55 years of age and Gi Ro, 45 years of age, died as the result of their injuries, the third is listed in stable condition.

An argument between the men resulted in the shooting. The nature of the argument or the circumstances that led to the shooting are still under investigation. One handgun was recovered at the scene. No arrests have been made.
