"Homicide Detectives Need the Public’s Help to Solve Murder"

Los Angeles: On July 11, 2004, at around 2:00 a.m., 77th Street Homicide Detectives were called to 68th Street and Menlo Avenue to investigate a murder. The victim is a male Hispanic and appeared to be in his thirties.

To date, the exact location of where the crime occurred is unknown. Evidence shows that the shooting victim ran from the area of 70th Street and Hoover Avenue, to 68th Street where he died of his injuries.

Neither the suspect/s or the murder weapon have been located and the motive for this crime is unknown. In addition, the victim has not yet been identified.

The Los Angeles Police Department is seeking assistance from the public, asking anyone with information to contact 77th Street Homicide Detectives at 213-485-1385 during normal business hours.
