Detectives Need Clues To Solve Homicide

Los Angeles: On Sunday July 18, 2004 at 7:12 a.m., Foothill Area officers responded to a "Possible Murder Investigation" radio call in the 9200 block of Dorrington Place in the Arleta area of Foothill Division. Responding officers were directed to a dead body in the driveway of a local resident. The male victim was pronounced dead by personnel of the Los Angeles City Fire Department. The deceased has been identified as a thirty-five year old resident of Arleta. His name will not be released pending notification of the next of kin.

The investigation has revealed that the victim had been shot in the driveway where his body was found. There is no suspect information and no motive has been established.

Foothill Detectives are asking the public for assistance. Anyone with information is asked to call 818-834-3115 or information can be phoned to a 24 hour toll free number at 1-877-529-3855.
