Man Found Shot to Death near a Bus Bench

Los Angeles: Van Nuys Homicide Detectives are investigating the shooting death of a man found near a bus bench.

On Saturday, July 16, 2005, at about 12:30 a.m., Officers were flagged down in the 6600 block of Sepulveda Boulevard.  Officers were informed there had been a shooting and Officers saw the victim lying near a bus bench suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body.

The victim identified as 41 year-old, Rory Fontanelle, male Black, was transported to a local hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.
