Man Shot While Walking on the 105 Freeway Overpass

Los Angeles:  A man was shot and killed Thursday afternoon on Figueroa Street, over the 105 freeway.
On July 21, 2005, at about 3:15 p.m., Edward Brown, a 28 year old African-American man was walking south on Figueroa Street on the 105 Freeway overpass when a suspect exited a 2002 light gold Lincoln LS, 4-door, walked up to Edward Brown and shot him numerous times.  After shooting Mr. Brown, the suspect got back into the car and drove away south on Figueroa Street from Laconia Boulevard. 
Brown was transported to Harbor UCLA Medical Center by Los Angeles City Paramedics, and admitted for his injuries, but died seven hours later.
The suspect is only described as a male Black.
