DUI Driver Kills 82 Year-Old Woman

Los AngelesOn July 23, 2005, Turner Ray Roberts, a resident of Inglewood, was driving under the influence of alcohol, when he lost control of his vehicle and killed 82-year-old Pomona resident, Estela Ramos.

At 4:55 p.m., Robert’s vehicle collided with a 25-year-old’s vehicle on the corner of 7th Street and Alameda Street.  The suspect’s vehicle continued out of control and struck Estela Ramos who was seated on a bus bench in the Greyhound parking lot. 

The 25-year-old victim sustained minor cuts.

Investigators arrested and booked Roberts for Vehicular Manslaughter.
