Argument Escalates to Deadly Stabbing NR11326kr

Los Angeles:  A man is stabbed to death during a heated argument.

On July 15, 2011 at around 10:55 p.m., 35-year-old Michael Smith became involved in a dispute with the suspect in the 600 block of West 11th Street. The suspect, described only as a male Hispanic, stabbed the victim with a knife before running from the scene. The nature of the argument, and motive for the murder, has not been determined.

Los Angeles City Fire Department personnel responded and transported Smith to a local hospital where he died a short time later.
