DETAILS:   
The Los Angeles Police Academy will graduate 32 officers.  Thirty of the graduates will be LAPD officers, and two will be for Los Angeles World Airports. Of the 30 LAPD officers, there are 23 males and seven females.  The ethnic breakdown of the 30 graduates is as follows: 10 Caucasians, 14 Hispanics, three African Americans, one Asian (non-Korean), one Filipino and one American Indian.  Graduating officers have completed 920 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks.
