"Suspects Sought in Takeover Robbery"

Los Angeles - On May 30, 2000, at approximately 8:15 P.M., an armed robbery occurred on the 8200 block of south Normandie Avenue, at the 99 Cent Plus store. The suspects were described as two male Hispanics, both armed with unknown type caliber handguns. The suspects entered the business and ordered the employees to empty the cash register and lay down on the floor. The Detectives were able to get a surveillance tape of the incident and are asking the public's assistance in identifying the suspects in this case. A copy of the video is available for the Press at LAPD Media Relations Section.
