Officers Give Scholarships to High School Students

Los Angeles - On Tuesday, June 6, 2000, at 6:00 p.m., Southeast Area officers Gary Ricco, Francis Coughlin, Mary O"Callihan, and Michael Mack will be presenting a scholastic scholarship at Jordan High School, 2265 East 103rd Street. The officers utilizing their own funds collaborated with Los Angeles Harbor Junior College to establish a scholarship program. The students receive the funds to attend Los Angeles Harbor Junior College and if they maintain a 3.00 GPA, they will receive a full scholarship to UCLA. The media is invited to this unique occasion.
