$25,000 Reward for Information Leading to Arrest of Murder Suspect

Los Angeles – On December 24, 2000, Juan Tarciscio Martinez Jr., 21 years of age, was found shot to death in his car, in an alley to the east of the 3300 block of Beethoven Street in the Palms area. Police suspect Martinez was the victim of a robbery and was shot by someone seated in the passenger seat of the car.

The Los Angeles Police Department, Pacific Homicide Detectives is seeking the public’s assistance for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) in this murder case. As the person or persons responsible for this crime represent an ongoing threat to the safety of the people of Los Angels, the City of Los Angeles has issued a reward of $25,000 for information leading to the identification of the person(s) responsible for the death of Martinez.
