Taxi Cab Driver Found Dead

 

Los Angeles: On Wednesday, June 12, 2002, at approximately 5:00 p.m., Los Angeles Police Department, Hollenbeck Area officers received a radio call of possible victim slumped over in the driver's seat of a taxi cab in the area of Orme Street and Garnett Avenue. The officers found the victim, 37-year old male Hispanic Rosel Ramon Castro of Huntington Park, shot to death inside his vehicle. Los Angeles City Fire Department personnel responded and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

At this time there are no witnesses identified and no suspect information. The motive for the shooting is also unknown.
