Los Angeles: On Wednesday, June 12, 2002 at approximately 7:00 a.m., twelve year old Lacresha Jones left her residence at the 1500 block of E. 99^th Street, in Los Angeles, to go to Markham Middle School, located at 1650 E. 104^th Street. Lacresha did not attend class that day and did not return home. Lacresha is described as a female Black, 5’ 4", 190-200 lbs., large build, and medium complexion. She was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue and white jeans, with black shoes. Lacresha has severe asthma and requires breathing treatment; she also has a rash on her arms.

Lacresha’s mother Alexis Marshall believes her daughter may be with a 19-year-old boyfriend. Lacresha was seen in the area of 46^th Street and Compote Avenue.
