Detectives Ask For Help In Murder Case

Los Angeles: On Thursday, June 27, 2002, at approximately 7:00 p.m. Victim Ramsey Boutte, a male Black , 20 years of age, of Los Angeles, was riding his bike to his grandmother’s house. Two male Black suspects driving a black sedan shot the victim from inside their car, and fled in unknown direction toward 3rd Avenue and 52nd Street .

Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim dead . The motive of the shooting appears to be gang related and no suspects have been identified.
