"Drunken Driver Arrested for Vehicular Manslaughter"

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s South Traffic detectives are investigating the death of a 39 year-old male Hispanic.
The unidentified victim was a passenger in a car being driven by 34 year-old Artemio Barcenas of Wilmington. Barcenas was driving westbound on Anaheim Street, east of Henry Ford Avenue, when the car he was driving collided with a commercial tow truck that was making a U-turn. The impact killed Barcenas’ male passenger and seriously injured Barcenas. The driver of the tow truck wasn’t hurt.
LAPD South Traffic detectives investigated the deadly collision and determined that Barcenas was driving under the influence of alcohol when his vehicle collided with the tow truck. Barcenas, still hospitalized, was arrested for Felony Vehicular Manslaughter.
