West Valley Area's Scholarship Award Ceremony


 

What: West Valley Area Community Police Advisory Board's
Scholarship Award Ceremony

When: Wednesday, June 11, 2003, at 7:00 p.m.

Where: West Valley Municipal Building
19040 Vanowen Street, Reseda

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department's West Valley Area Community Police Advisory Board (C-PAB) is proud to announce its first ever scholarship award to high school seniors. The two $1,000.00 college scholarships will be awarded to students from Reseda High School.

The recipients for this year are Daniela Gurrola and Yesica Cabirera. They were selected from a group of applicants from the West Valley community.

This is the first time in the 13-year history of the West Valley C-PAB that such an award was made. These awards are in keeping with the West Valley C-PAB's Mission Statement to enhance the quality of life in the West Valley community.
