Home Invasion Robbers Shot Three Victims

Los Angeles: On Wednesday, June 18, 2003, at about 2:00 a.m., Foothill Area patrol officers responded to a shooting call in the 13100 block of Glenoaks Boulevard in Sylmar. Upon arrival, the officers discovered three Hispanic males suffering from gunshot wounds. Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded and transported the victims to a local hospital for medical treatment. The victims are Hispanic males ages 19, 24, and 27. They are in critical condition at this time.

The preliminary investigation revealed three armed male Hispanic suspects forced entry into the residence and demanded valuables. The victims, unable to come up with anything of value, were shot by the suspects. All three suspects fled the scene and remain outstanding.

The motive is robbery.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Foothill Robbery Detectives at 818-834-3115. On weekends and during off-hours, call the 24-hour toll free number at the Detective Information Desk, 1-877-LAWFULL, 1-877-529-3855.
