Los Angeles: Members of the media are cordially invited to attend the
Monthly Media Availability Meeting, hosted by Chief of Police William J.
Bratton. This media availability is consistent with Chief Bratton's mandate
to foster an attitude of openness and cooperation between the Department and
the public/media.
Among other things, Chief Bratton will discuss current crime trends, and
his recent trips to Washington DC and Sacramento with Mayor Hahn.
Additionally, he will highlight two LAPD programs that target youth drug and
alcohol abuse.
