33 Year-Old Man Shot and Killed


 

Los Angeles: 77th Street Homicide Detectives are investigating the shooting incident that led to the death of 33 year-old Clifford Ray White.

On Monday, June 23, 2003, at about 3:00 a.m. White was involved in a dispute with two male Black suspects in the 500 block of West 75th Street in Los Angeles. At one point, one of the suspects pulled out a handgun and fired several shots at White. White who was shot several times, left the location on foot but collapsed about a half block away.

Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded and pronounced White dead at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds.

The motive is possibly gang-related.

The suspects and weapon remain outstanding. The suspects are only described as two male Blacks 18-20 years of age.
