Los Angeles: On June 25, 2003, at about 7:55 a.m., Newton Area patrol officers responded to a possible dead body investigation at 754 East 12th Street. Upon their arrival, the officers discovered human body parts wrapped in plastic on the ground in the alley to the rear of a business.

Homicide investigators responded and the preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was a male adult with an approximate age of 25 to 35 years. The race of the victim has not been determined at this time. It appears that the victim was murdered somewhere else and dumped at this location.

The motive for this murder and the suspect(s) identity are unknown at this time.
