Nameless Murdered Man

Los Angeles Police Department’s Newton Area Homicide Detectives

What:
Detectives Requesting Public’s Help in Identifying Homicide Victim

When:
Thursday, June 26, 2003 at 3:00 p.m.

Where:
LAPD Newton Area Station, 3400 South Central Avenue Red Davis Room

Los Angeles: On Wednesday, June 25, 2003, at about 7:55 a.m., Newton Area patrol officers responded to a dead body investigation at 754 East 12th Street. Behind the building at that address, the officers discovered a dead male on the ground in the alley.

Homicide investigators were called and determined that the victim was an adult male with an approximate age of 25 to 35 years. The race of the victim has not been determined at this time. Detectives believe that the man was murdered somewhere else and his body was dumped at this location. The motive for the murder is unknown at this time.

LAPD Newton Area Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying the victim. A photo of the deceased male will be available at the press conference.
