Los Angeles: Harbor Area Homicide Detectives are investigating a shooting incident, which led to the death of 24 year-old Robert Jesus Hernandez.

On Monday, June 30, 2003, at about 2:05 a.m., Hernandez was walking in the 1500 block of South Beacon Street, when unidentified suspects(s) fired numerous rounds at the victim, hitting him multiple times.

Hernandez died at the scene as a result of his gunshot wounds.

The motive is unknown at this time and there is no further information on the suspect(s).
