"Shooting Leaves One Dead; Homicide Detectives Need Your Help"

 

Los Angeles: Wilshire Detectives are investigating the death of 20 year-old Trayvon Reed of Los Angeles.

On Sunday, June 29, 2003, at about 3:00 a.m., residents in the area of the 1300 block of Burnside Avenue heard possible gunshots or fireworks and a vehicle was heard speeding away. The victim was discovered lying in a driveway and was pronounced dead at the scene, due to an apparent gunshot wound.

No suspect(s) have been identified at this time. This is an on-going investigation.
