Critical Missing Child

 

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department and the family of 11 year-old Daniel Basmadjian are requesting the public’s help in locating Daniel, who was reported missing on June 5, 2004, at 11:30 p.m.

Daniel was last seen in the area of Sherman Way and Hazeltine Avenue, in Van Nuys Division, at about 9:40 a.m.

Daniel has the mental capacity of a 5 year-old child. He is described as 5 feet tall, weighs 90 pounds and has black hair and eyes. He was last seen wearing a brown baseball cap, blue and white stripped shirt and beige shorts.

A command post has been set up to coordinate the search for Daniel at Runnymede Street and Stansbury Avenue.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Daniel Basmadjian is asked to call Van Nuys Community Police Station at 818 756-8343.
