7-11 Store Robbery Caught on Tape
Los Angeles: On June 30, 2004, at about 3:30 a.m., two male Black
suspects entered the 7-11 Store located at 5600 San Vicente Boulevard. Both
suspects were armed with handguns and bound the lone employee. The suspects
deactivated the surveillance system prior to forcing the front counter over
and removed the safe. The suspects also took the cash box and left the
store. There was a third suspect at the front door who acted as a lookout
during the robbery.
These suspects are the same individuals that have been robbing 7-11
Stores in Los Angeles and San Bernardino Counties. It is believed that they
are responsible for 18 robberies since July of 2003, nine of those crimes
have occurred in the City Los Angeles.
The suspects are described as follows:
- Suspect #1 Male Black 6’00"/6’5" 230/300 lbs. 20/30 years of age
- Suspect #2 Male Black 5’7’/6’00" 130/170 lbs. 20/30 years of age
- Suspect #3 Male Black 20/25 years of age
To date, one victim from the robbery that occurred on April 2004, in
Torrance, was seriously injured. Several 7-11 employees have received
scrapes, bumps and bruises as a result of the robberies.
