Gang Member Shot and Killed by Rival

 

Los Angeles: An Hispanic gang member was shot and killed by an apparent rival Sunday, June 19th, at approximately 11:45 PM in the Green Meadow area of Los Angeles.

The victim, 19-year-old Ayboni Del Toro, was buying tacos from a catering truck on the southeast corner of Gage Avenue and Main Street when a black man approached him and asked his gang affiliation. When Del Toro denied gang involvement, the suspect pulled a gun and shot him. Del Toro was taken by paramedics to California Hospital where he later died.

The LAPD is seeking the assistance of the community in solving this crime.
