Critical Missing Autistic Juvenile

Los Angeles: Early this morning, 12-year-old Brandon Hardge was reported missing from 4120 11th Avenue (Audubon Middle School) in the South Los Angeles area. Hardge is a male Black 4'0", 75 lbs, with a thin build and medium complexion. He was wearing a navy blue sweater and gray pants. He is autistic and wears prescription eyeglasses.

On June 20, 2005, at about 7:40 a.m., a passerby told investigators that she was driving to work and saw Hardge hiding in the bushes, holding a water hose on the corner of Don Milagro and Don Jose Drive.

Hardge has been reported missing in the past and is known to like watering lawns.

Any information regarding the whereabouts of Hardge is asked to contact Southwest Area Division at 213-485-2582 or 2583. On the weekends and during off-hours, please call the Detective Information Desk at 1-877-LAWFULL (1-877-529-3855).

*On 6-20-05, at 7:45 p.m., Brandon Hardge was found at LAX. He appeared to be fatigued from a long walk and wasn't wearing any shoes. He was safely returned to his family.
