Woman Found Dead in Griffith Park

 

Los Angeles: The body of a dead woman was found near the Griffith Park Observatory.

On Saturday, June 25, 2005, at approximately 8:55 AM, Northeast Area uniformed officers responded to a radio call of a death investigation, in the 2800 block of East Observatory Road, in the Griffith Park area of Los Angeles. Upon arrival, the officers discovered the body of a woman near a fire road.

No identification was found on the woman. The cause of death is unknown pending an autopsy by the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office.

The motive for this crime is undetermined at this time.
